Zhongguang Net Harbin Dec. 28 news: first “China Ice and Snow COSPLAY Fair” sponsored by Heilongjiang Provincial Party Committee Propaganda Department, the Provincial Culture Department, Harbin Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department and Harbin City Cultural Department will be held on January 21 – 24th, 2011 in Harbin International Exhibition and Sports Centre.

This “China Ice and Snow COSPLAY Fair” is the first ice and snow theme of animation show. It will focus on young people popular and welcomed activities, such as “the opening ceremony of the ice fireworks”, ”snow animation amusement park”, “cartoon dolls Parade“, “figure skating show”, “National COSPLAY exhibition”, “inter-city hip-hop show” some and other fashionable and colorful activities.

According to reports, this Comic Fair is positing ”enrich student’s winter vocation lives, activate ice and snow animation originality”.  During the Fair, it will be held fireworks opening ceremony, large snow and ice evening party and COSPLAY ice sculpture exhibition. There will be an animation snow park in the Sports Center Square, ice rink, ice slides and other entertainment items are free, cartoon dolls, COSPLAY actors will interact with the audience. Excellent COSPLAY team representatives selected in 500 top "Seventh Golden Dragon Award COSPLAY National Tournament" from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Beijing, Chongqing and other cities will do the living theatres and walk shows. Some professional hip-hop groups from Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and three northeastern provinces will show dynamic snow and ice hip-hop. Some cosplay celebrities will also attend to signings.

In addition, the exhibition will also highlight “the animation contents large concentration”. Culture Ministry will transplant “Chinese Animation Art Exhibition” to “China Ice and Snow COSPLAY Fair” in the first time. Using pictures, video and other forms show the development of Chinese animation history and the development of animation creation process in recent years.

Brand animation businesses in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong will appear ICE CITY in the first time. Heilongjiang, Shenzhen, Jilin and Dalian animation bases will show their latest cosplay development results. During the exhibition, cosplay toys, fashionable cartoon gifts, licensed animation products, anime game discs, cosplay costumes and models, video games and other derivative products will be displayed and sold.
