The 6th International Cartoon Festival held in Changchun, Ji Lin from May 28 to June 2. Many cartoon masters from different countries and areas have attended this big cartoon festival-Cosplay Costumes. Masters also give their own suggestions about the future development of China’s cartoon cause. These suggestions will be of great help of the development of our China’s cartoon industry. One cartoon expert from Germany, the ex-chairman of Germany’s film museum, Rolf Giesen, pointed that China’s cartoon should pay more attention to the quality. He was happy to see that the China government had strongly supported the development of cartoon. He said,“China is the only country in the world whose government truly cares about cartoon industry. “China’s cartoon film needs to compete with the high-quality cartoon films all over the world. It means that, China’s cartoon films must be better. I find China’s cartoon makers can get to a higher level. What they need is competition, only by competition can they produce better cartoon films.”
Rob Giesen also expressed that he was very happy to see China’s cartoon makers are all talking about the quality of cartoon films.“Since people have already know the importance of the quality of cartoon films, I think in the coming future, we will see the cartoon film with high quality made in China.”Rob Giesen’s suggestion needs us to think more about our cartoon.
